I started blogging late November/December of 2008. My blog is all about the discerning Curvy.Confident.Chic. plus size woman- featuring lifestyle pieces on fashion, entertainment, body image, and everything in between from a plus perspective!

5 things I’ve learned about blogging:
- Build, establish, and protect your brand! Be self hosted, own your domain, and trademark immediately!
- Engage your audience! Reply to comments and leave comments on other blogs- you learn something new everyday! You are not an island!
- Find, Learn, and Develop your OWN voice. As you start to blog, you will find your own niche, angle, and perspective. While there will be quite a lot of the same topics, your perspective is yours, and do not be afraid to create your own!
- Pay it forward. I have been very fortunate to have met some amazing mentors and friends along my blogging road who have guided, taught, and coached me through my journey. in order for the blogging community to continue to grow and to be a positive experience- remember: Sharing is Caring!
- Content is key.
