Kiran of Fitnesolution
I started blogging mid 2008. Professionally I am a fitness trainer and run my own fitness centre by the name of Fitnesolution in Delhi, India. I started this blog primarily as a fitness blog, but soon it reached its saturation point and I wanted to diversify. I am a qualified fashion designer too and fashion has always interested me. So I moved on to fashion. I am very spiritually inclined too and follow Art of Living with Zeal. So, another dimension was added to my blog which is teachings of Art of Living or Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji. Overall, I would say, my blog is about LIFE, fitness, fashion, food, people, Delhi, Dancing (my another passion). Or you can say, my blog is about ME.

5 things I’ve learned about blogging:
- Blogging is about YOU- your interests, inclinations, things that make you happy or things/opinions you want a voice out, or want to share it with the world.
- Blogging is a powerful medium. But you have to use a lot of discretion as to what you want to share and what you do not want to.
- Bloggers tread on the razor’s edge. Though, you have such a powerful medium, you might unknowingly offend someone. So, keep your blogs simple, neat and clean.
- Blogging requires lot of time and you need to find the right balance. Although, many followers and comments might give you a great ego boost, but at the same time would take a lot of your time if you reply to each comment individually or visit many blogs per day to build connections. See how much time can you afford to spend. For full time bloggers, things might be different than for people with other busy schedules. So do not go overboard. Specially, stay away from the rat race. Run at your own pace.
- I prefer simple, sweet, honest blogs to too loud and STRONG, in your face kind of blogs. The underlying sweetness, integrity and honesty should always be maintained. I stay clear of high and mighty blogs.
